National Services Scotland launch Sustrans Active Travel Programme
As part of Climate Week, NHS National Services Scotland is launching the Sustrans Active Travel Champions programme at NHS Gyle Square.
With circa 1,600 staff, this co-habited office space includes the following NHS national boards:
- NHS National Services Scotland

- NHS Healthcare Improvement Scotland
- Scottish Ambulance Service HQ
The launch event is for all staff and aims to inform and recruit people into the programme in order to further support active travel targets, reduce local congestion and pollution and improve staff health and wellbeing. Information and materials will be available to staff at the lunchtime event.
This event is open to all staff at the NHS Gyle Square office. If you have any questions or comments, please get in touch with Markus Hiemann (markus.hiemann@nhs.net), Sustainability Lead, NHS National Services Scotland
