Draft Public Engagement Strategy for Climate Change
Published in conjunction with the Climate Change Plan Update, this draft public engagement strategy sets out an overarching framework for engaging the people of Scotland in the transition to a net zero nation.
The strategy identifies three strategic objectives:
- People are aware of the action that the Scottish Government to address climate change and how it relates to their lives.
- People actively participate in shaping fair and inclusive policies that encourage adaptation and mitigation of climate change.
- Taking action on climate change is normalised and encouraged in communities and places across Scotland.
