Energy Security Challenges: NATO's approach
The Centre for Energy Policy in partnership with the University of Strathclyde Strategic Themes is hosting an evening lecture by Dr Tadas Jakštas from NATO's Centre of Excellence in Energy Security.
Dr. Tadas Jakštas is a subject matter expert at NATO’s Centre of Excellence in Energy Security, based in Vilnius, Lithuania. He works on questions lying at the intersection of cybersecurity and energy policy. His recent projects include consultations on interregional cooperation on security matters across the Baltic States and on the threats to energy distribution networks across NATO member states. Tadas holds a PhD in political science from the University of Essex where he produced a dissertation assessing The European Union’s energy policy, and he continues to produce peer reviewed research on the subject of security issues surrounding critical energy infrastructure.
