NHS GG & C celebrate Climate Week with themed topics for each day of the week
The NHS trust will be celebrating Climate Week by raising awareness among staff and the wider public. Greater Glasgow & Clyde have applied a climate related topic to each day of the week – including Water, Energy and Waste. There will be stalls with information about Climate Week, along with information about reducing waste, energy consumption and water waste both at home and at work, for both staff and visitors visiting the following locations:
- Monday (1 October) 10:00-14:00 in the main building at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
- Wednesday (3 October) 10:00-14:00 Gartnavel General Hospital
- Thursday (4 October) 09:00-11:00 Stobhill Hospital & 13:00-15:00 New Victoria Hospital
There will also be merchandise for the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde EcoSmart campaign available to staff. A daily staff email will be sent providing details of additional activities and events that are happening throughout the week along with brief information about the above topics. This will be an opportunity to view the new sustainability campaign, Sustainability Action that NHS Scotland is launching.
