Inspired by Scotland’s progress towards tackling the climate emergency, in December 2019, Loch Lomond and the Trossach’s National Park Authority Board supported a refreshed approach to future climate work. In December the following year, the Mission Zero Route Map was approved. It outlined a net zero target date of 2030 and key priority actions and aims to get them there.

“Mission Zero will influence how we work as an organisation and will also build motivation and momentum to drive positive and coordinated climate action across the National Park, making it an important step towards the National Park itself becoming a net zero place.” - Charlotte Wallace, Climate Action Manager
