Clyde Valley Residual Waste Project

North Lanarkshire Council is the lead authority of a consortium of five local authorities that aim to deliver an improved recycling and residual waste treatment. The project was the first of its kind in Scotland and the contract has been running for 22 months and is on the way to delivering over 90% diversion from landfill, with recyclate being extracted from the waste.
