Scottish Land Commission

The Scottish Land Commission is a public body, established on 1 April 2017 by the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016. Its role is to make more of Scotland’s land by stimulating fresh thinking, supporting change on the ground and making recommendations to Scottish Ministers, where appropriate, for legislative and policy change across our three priority areas of work: reforming land rights, embedding responsible land ownership and use, and reforming land markets.

Scottish Land Commission's first year of reporting is 2021-22.
