PBCCD annual reports 2020

1 September 2020

Update on Reporting Arrangements on behalf of the Scottish Government

From this year, the Scottish Government will be managing Public Bodies Climate Change Duties (PBCCD) reporting submissions. This means there are a few changes on how you report.

Reporting Format and Templates

Due to technical changes the ProcXed platform is not available for 2020. Public bodies can submit their PBCCD reports through any of the following methods:

1. Public bodies can choose to submit an updated version of last year’s report. A copy of your body’s report can be downloaded from the Sustainable Scotland Network website.

2. Public bodies can submit a one-year report using this spreadsheet template.

3. Public bodies may choose to submit a report that meets the requirements of 2015 Reporting Duties but which may not be in a standard format.

Reporting Deadline

Completed reports should be sent to climatechangepbreporting@gov.scot by the 30 November deadline.

Emission Factors

Please note, updated emission factors can be found in the Scottish Government template. You should continue to follow your usual term of emission factors (those reporting on a standard financial or calendar year use 2019 factors; those reporting on an academic year use the 2020 factors). Both 2019 and 2020 emission factors are included in the template – please select the relevant emission factor year in Question 3b.
