Zero Carbon Commuting Conference
The Zero Carbon Commutin Conference, hosted by Mobilityways, is dedicated to exploring how to decarbonise the commute. The online event is an opportunity to address the challenges and solutions around travelling to and from the workplace.
Often overlooked, commuting emissions account for 5% of the UK's emissions and are increasingly under the spotlight following organisations setting ambitious net zero targets. 'These targets cannot be met unless commuting emissions are addressed, particularly with many employers planning their return to the office'.
A collection of speakers will discuss a range of topics including Scope 3 commuter emissions challenges, the viability of sustainable commuting alternatives, and the mitigation of climate change images to allow for happier, stress-less commutes for all.
Speakers include:
- Ali Clabburn, CEO, Mobilityways
- George Freeman, UK Minister for Science, Technology & Innovation
- Jamie Milroy, CEO and Founder, DASH
- Richard Dilks, Chief Executive, CoMoUK
- Georgie Stuart, Project Officer, Workplace Engagement, Sustrans
- Oz Choudhri, Head of Mobility Solutions, UK & Ireland, Enterprise Rent-A-Car
