Organised by Creative Carbon Scotland, the Green Arts Conference showcases how and why Scotland’s cultural sector is responding to the climate and environmental crisis. Through exciting speakers, interactive workshops and community networking it provides a rare opportunity to share the innovative steps being taken to reduce the environmental impact of the arts and understand their crucial role in creating a more sustainable Scotland.
This year’s conference will focus on climate justice, the climate emergency, and adaptation. The confernece will be looking at how climate change connects to issues of equality and accces, as well as implications of climate change impacts and how the arts can contribute to this area:
- Learn more about the intersection of climate change responses and societal justice means for you and your organisation
- Share knowledge with other Scottish arts and sustainability organisations on emissions reduction and sustainability innovations
- Take part in workshops to develop skills and expertise in leadership, thematic engagement and climate change risk assessment
