Climate Week North East
Climate Week North East is an annual week of events in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. It was founded by Aberdeen Climate Action in 2015 as a means to raise awareness of Climate Change, showcase what is going on in the North East of Scotland to live sustainably and prompt action to reduce carbon emissions.
There are a wide number of organisations and individuals that come together to plan and organise Climate Week North East each year, including Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council sustainability teams. You can see a full list of the organisations involved featured in the programme.
Climate Week North East (CWNE) 2019 brings a week full of fun and inspiring events to Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City (15th-24th March). This week aims to raise awareness of climate change, highlighting what we can all do to make a difference by reducing our own carbon footprint. Events range from film screenings, climate change talks, to helping with the conservation of a small woodland.
