Local Authority Forum

The Local Authority Forum provides a dedicated space for SSN Local Authority members to connect, discuss shared challenges, exchange learning, and identify opportunities to address knowledge gaps. The forum meets online quarterly and features case studies and a range of speakers on relevant issues and topics raised by members. Participants also receive updates and insights from key partners and leaders, including the SSN Steering Group, Scottish Government, CoSLA, SEON, and the Climate Emergency Action Group.

Knowledge exchange and peer learning are central to the Forum. Members play an active role in shaping network activity to enhance the overall member experience and benefits. We encourage participants to raise and share the issues that matter most to them, their organisations, colleagues and partners, particularly in relation to delivering climate action, improving sustainability, and informing how implementation of the SSN Strategy can empower members both individually and collectively.
